Love

Inspired by an eclipse style card, I combined ink blending with heat embossing to create today's love themed card.

love card

On an A2 white panel, I blended some DO inks at the top. I stamped and embossed some flowers in white and used a scalloped die to add a fancy edge. I chose a large alpha die and cut the letters from the panel and snippets of white card stock. I stacked the letters, adding the blended letters at the top. I stuck the panel to a card base and added the letters in place, adding the counters for the "o" and "e". As a finishing touch, I stuck some white gems on the card.

Made with love

Hello crafty friend, I hope you're having a great start to the new year. I'm sliding in at the last minute with a friendship themed card.

I used a piercing die to add a heart pattern to a baby blue piece of card stock, and stuck this to an A2 card base. I die cut several of the mini postage stamps from several shades of pink and stacked the layers. I stamped images on the inner panels with a set from Sweet and Sassy Stamps. I stuck the frames on the card base then added the inner panels. I stuck 3 clay heart in the centre to fill the space to complete the card.

Hugs

Hello and welcome, I hope you're having an enjoyable weekend. Today's card is floral themed with lots of die cutting and water colouring.

I started by die cutting the layering florals and leaves from some snippets of mixed media paper. I coloured them with Tombow pens and adhered the layers. On an A2 panel I scribbled some yellow marker, spread it with a paint brush and added texture with a pierced hearts die. I felt the background was too bright so I splattered it and the florals with white paint.  I cut a smaller rectangle, added a scalloped edge and stuck this to the background panel. I die cut the letters, stacked several layers and coloured the top with a red marker. I stuck the letters to the smaller panel and added the roses and leaves to complete the card.
