Thank you | Layered Fresh Flowers

 A fresh colour palette inspired my spring themed thank you card.

I cut a deep purple A2 panel and stuck it to a card base. I cut a scalloped edge on a snippet of vellum, and stuck it to the top of the card. I cut the flowers from bits of mixed media paper, coloured them with Zig markers and added glossy accents to the centres. I stuck the flowers under the vellum. I cut the sentiment from snippets of media paper and white card stock, and stacked the layers. I added a little colour to the sentiment and stuck it at the top to finish off.

Warmest wishes

I started by creating the background with markers on a piece of mixed media paper and added this panel to a card base. I splattered white paint to add some interest. I cut the tree lines from bits of white card stock and added them to the card. I stamped the sentiment on the bottom. I die cut the snowflakes from snippets of white glitter card and stuck them to the sky. I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the images and stuck them to the card.

Love

Inspired by an eclipse style card, I combined ink blending with heat embossing to create today's love themed card.

On an A2 white panel, I blended some DO inks at the top. I stamped and embossed some flowers in white and used a scalloped die to add a fancy edge. I chose a large alpha die and cut the letters from the panel and snippets of white card stock. I stacked the letters, adding the blended letters at the top. I stuck the panel to a card base and added the letters in place, adding the counters for the "o" and "e". As a finishing touch, I stuck some white gems on the card.
